Strategic Gift Planning –What Your High-Net Worth Donors Expect You to Know

Traditional views on gift planning are being challenged and these challenges are being instigated by the donors!  Studies have been conducted to determine what the higher net-worth donor feels about “gift planning” and more importantly what role they expect their professional advisors to assume in assisting them accomplish their goals.  This session is designed to incorporate the results of these studies in conjunction with the various components of the gift planning process, with an emphasis on the elements where the client/donor does not feel they are receiving the support they seek.  In addition to discussion on the “traditional” strategies, “blended gifts” will be included – along with practical examples for advisers – to insure that the donor/client achieves current gifting goals in addition to testamentary or legacy objectives.
