Who’s Who? Making the Most of Your Leadership’s Time
A critical step in booking principal gifts is securing meaningful facetime between prospects and your institution’s leaders. How do you ensure that your top administrators are seeing the right prospects at the right time? How do you brief your leaders to create an outcome that supports your cultivation strategy? Collaboration is key! Senior Development, the Office of the President and Research and Prospect Management staff must work seamlessly to coordinate effective presidential interactions. This discussion will follow the WVU Foundation’s Principal Gift Program as it identifies potential principal gift prospects, coordinates appropriate touches at the executive level, and provides the briefing materials necessary to make these meetings a success. |

Working Groups that Work
Chris Campbell, Senior Associate Vice President of Information Strategy, OSU Foundation Kristy Martin, Director of Research and Prospect Management, WVU Foundation Solving big problems is rarely done in a silo. So get out of yours and join professionals from technology, finance, donor relations, research and prospect management as we discuss how to work together to improve processes that affect all of us. How do we decide who owns a piece of data? How do we coordinate changing or moving data that we all share? What reports need to be written? Whose needs are met first? Chris Campbell, senior associate vice president of Information Strategy at the OSU Foundation and Kristy Martin, director of research and prospect management at the WVU Foundation, will outline two very different processes for achieving system-wide collaboration. Please bring your own success stories (or not-so-successful stories!) as we discuss how to foster a culture of shared ownership across departments. |
